This summer I’m proud to say that I read seven books all in all (yey!) I’m not bragging or anything I’m just happy for I always wanted to read (my resolution list number 5 is to read books 10x more than the last year) thank you free pdfs! anyhoo here are the books:
1.Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins: This book left me hanging with those questions in my head. I was stuck in Panem for about a week and till now i just couldn’t totally move on with it.
2. Matched by Allie Condie: Another book with dystopian theme. I was looking for a book that would reach the standards of my hunger games hype, that’s why i found this book. The book was okay but I’m more of Hunger Games fan.
3.Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger: This book made me emotionally unstable but i love it.
4.The Winner Stands ALone by Paulo Coelho: Good plot, well molded characters, good book.
5. Perks of being a wallflower by Stephen Chbosky: very “relatable” book. I found myself within the characters, especially with Charlie and i will surely be rereading this one.
I’m targeting to have at least 2 books to read per month so that i can broaden my world and imagination and hopefully, improve my grammar. I hope I have given you some sort of idea on what to read with my unnecessary brief reviews about the books above :)

IS ANYONE OUT THERE HAPPY?
by the grumpy Jenn

Is anyone out there happy?
then come…come here and save me
the world became so scary
and i don’t know how much can i carry

Is anyone out there happy?
without all the mask and pretentious beauty?
then come…come here and save me
just go ahead and take a look at me

Is anyone out there happy?
I mean truly, genuinely happy?
what’s your secret, just tell me!
and come here and friggin save me!

Backlog blog

Last month my cousin and I visited the beautiful city of Legazpi. yup I know this is a major backlog but I will post it anyway. We were invited, oh scratch that, my cousin was invited to the opening of a new tea house in the city and i was just there gatecrashing the event (err or i could more likely be my cousin’s plus one haha) well, till now i don’t know why i was there, haha pathetic me.

The gang from L-R: yours truly, eboy(cousin’s legit plus one?), ij (my cousin)

But I didn’t regret being a confused cousin-gatecrashing-an-event, for it was deliiiishous experience! TeaBrew Corner offers a variety of flavors that will surely bring happiness in your tummy. Legazpi bound? go try their tea at t the Ground Floor of JNM Building, Landco Business Park (Gaisano Mall), Legazpi, Albay.

Then after that we went tourist-y in Legazpi City! (look mom, i made it rhyme haha) First stop, Embarcadero.

The famous Mayon Volcano, Hi there!

I met my handsome boyfriend there, his name is Andy and I miss him already (rhyme again haha) we look cute together, right?

After the long tiring walk in Embarcadero, we ate at this restaurant called Eatalia. It was Italy in the palm of our hands, with its fine ambiance and exquisite Italian cuisines—it was just yumm, delizioso!

I believe I’ll have another too!

A is for an AWESOME trip! The experience was so fun and we will be doing it again soooon!

Vagabond.

here’s what i wore during our escapade in Bagolatao Camarines Sur. A very simple summer look ‘umpf-up by a boater hat. (sleeveless shirt: artwork. shorts:forever21. bag:thrift store/ukay. shades&boater hat:sm department store. ribbon bracelet:f&h) Then my friend did some french braiding on my hair and look how cute it turned out!

sorry can’t find any blog worthy picture of me looking at the camera after the braid.hee hee

Because of this, I’m now very fascinated with the art of braiding and I’m trying my very best to learn it. I just love how it transform your look from normal to sophisticated, dainty and summer ready :)

hope your enjoying the heat! happy summer everyone!

just keep swimming,swimming,swimming!

Last Saturday, my dearest friend Vanessa celebrated her 200/10(21/7)-2 to the -th birthday and we went swimming, swimming, swimming!

It was our first time to visit Bagolatao beach in Camarines Sur, well except for Vanessa (it was her 2nd time alrady), and it was breath taking. The place were surrounded with white pebbles and I can’t wait for them to gradually turn into white sand. It was pure and calming place though it was kinda heart wrenching to see how people just abused them by throwing their litters on the shore. I wish the government will do its part on protecting the beauty of the place. well enough of the political gibberish, let’s talk about our escapade!

the following photos are the moments (of vanity) in our trip.hahah

remember JC in the house? our (carmelli and i) pretentious freelance photography tandem? well it’s not soo pretentious anymore coz it is on! oh it’s so on! since we find “JC in the house” lame title for our tandem we decided to name it FUMOOPHOTOGRAPHY. It comes from the Bikol world ‘pumo-photography’, an expression which means ostentatious or artsy-kind of photography. (e.g wow pumophotography lang!)and again last week we have collaborated with an local awesome shop here in Naga, which just shows the ‘real-ness’ of FumooPhotography. I will post more about the said collaboration maybe later. My agenda now is to invite you guys to support our endeavors by liking us at www.facebook.com/FumooPhotography!
yey us for following our dreams!
